Our collection
Skog in collaboration with Moa Ott
Our wooden collection is inspired by the natural forest, reflecting and highlighting its unique beauty and intricate shapes. Everything is handmade in Sweden by renowned cabinet-maker and woodworker Moa Brännström Ott. Each piece is numbered based on the tree.
Knöl is made out of mappa burl from Bosnia, a fast growing tree with deformed outgrowths, creating the characteristic and captivating patterns and irregular forms we love.
Knöl 1:1–5/5 gets its outstanding shape from the majestic mappa burl top, which rests lightly on three legs made out of locally sourced birch.
Stam is made out of locally sourced slabs, carefully chosen for their specific shapes, letting the trunk dictate the refined design of each piece.
Stam 1:1–1/1 a slab of Swedish ash on wide legs, creating a simple yet playful silhouette, enhancing the woods natural beauty.
Stock is made out of reused timber from abandoned, demolished or renovated traditional Swedish buildings, some dating back as far as to the 18th century.
Rot is made out of the invisible, yet most fundamental, part of the tree: the root system. This creates the most unexpected wooden shapes, awakening our imagination.
Slöjd is our contemporary take on traditional Swedish craftsmanship, revitalizing classical woodwork in the form of simple yet elegant pieces.
